trigger fish which to choose

there are four triggers to choos from. i wanna know what you think about which species is the all around best

1. Bursa
2. Huma Picasso
3. Undulated
4. White tip.

All input would be great. tank mates would be two pink and blue goldies and 1 lawnmower blenny in a 125 gallon tank. fish only

For that tank I'd go with the Hummu, IMO they're nicer looking than the Bursa.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are "pink and blue goldies"?

I also like the humu...undulates look cool but from what I hear they can get nasty aggressive as they get bigger.

Isn't goldie another name for anthia? Not sure I'd do anthias with triggers...

Oh, and I also vote picasso. Very attractive. Not as mean as many undulateds.

My Huma Huma is a very personable fish. He comes to the surface when I feed him (I am actually thinking about handfeeding him).

undy's are cool but it will soon to a species tank.
Picasso just as nice looking still will eat tank mates but you could get bigger fish with him and he be fine

From the sound of your orinal post... you want something that isnt going to be a pansy fish... Go with the Undy, however you might be buying yourself a one fish only tank... just like metioned above.

The Undulated and Huma are too aggressive for shrimp gobies. How about some more peaceful triggers like sargassum or bluethroat.

i have a humu and undulated, but not together. they once were together but they fought. the humu is a better choice, it is like a dog, i hand feed it regularly. my undulated would never let that happen. it is much more aggressive.

by bursa you mean rhinecanthus verrocosus, not sufflamen bursa right? well i had a R. verrococus and it was the exact same as my humu. same personality. very active.

white tips are meaner than undulateds. i had one of those for a short time, but he made his way back to the fishstore pretty quick for being too aggressive.

I have a huma and it is my favorite fish. Very friendy and super hardy. I had a white mouth eel that had half of the huma in his mouth for like 2 minutes. I got some tongs and pulled him out of there and he is fine now after a week of QT
