trigger system sump/refu

im bout to buy a trigger sump/ refu the 36 one

but i was wondering if anyone knows if i twill fit this 2 items
i got a c-skim 1800 for the first chamber and i got a mag24 return pump..

was wonderign if ther eis enough space in there if anyone can comment,, i dontknow the exact mesurament of them 2 items so i can help much

Hi,

The Mag2400 will definitely fit for you, however I'm not sure on the C-Skim. Do you have the dimensions on it by any chance?

Well at this point I think it won't matter I order it from u guys. Great price. The cheapes I found online. 299$ no shipping and no tax. U guy will hear from again.

Now to hope this skimmer fit
 
hey jeremy i just got it today and it came ok, nothing broken or anything btw NICE sump but now i have an issuethe cskim 1800 wont fit on the first chamber its just like humm 1-2 inches to big and the bracket is there, and under the brace is the wall of course.

so i was wondering THE only place where it would fit would be in the middle chamber where the fugium should had been do u think it would be wise to put it there and maybe i can put a mini refugium on the first chamber where the socks are at? or maybe i should forgo the refugium at all and just put live rock on the first chamber,,, but im digresing here,,, i just need to know if the water will rise enough to maintain the skimmer? in the middle chamber?
 
well i think it will fit the first chamber if i remove the bracer ,, will that affect the sump at all?

I would just flip the fuge compartment. Use your first compartment as the fuge, then run the skimmer in the middle compartment.

edit: oh wait u mean flip it where the slit thats on the bottom its on top?
 
No, I mean put your refugium as the first compartment, and then the sump compartment as the second section in the sump.
 
Oh ok so basically how I have it on right now. Skimmer on middle chamber. Return on still last chamber. And the first chamber where the socks are. Make it into a refugium.

Right. ?
 
Just curious what the difference is between the ruby and crystal design for the Trigger Sys sumps. I checked online and it seems like its the color but I just wanted to check as I really like this fuge/sump.
 
I belive it's so whateva light u put above it. For the refugium
It should make it so u don't get as much Algie cause if the red
Since marine animals don't see the red spectrum it won't affect them. Bit Algie will get minimize

But I could be wrong. Smile
