This is my first post in this particular forum. Hopefully this isn't a dumb question. I did some searching first but didn't come up with anything.
I recently got a Canon G10 for some photography (aquarium and other) and have read and heard that getting a tripod is a good idea. After doing some reading, I can see why.
My question is: what is a good tripod? My budget is about $100 to $150 dollars. Although, less is good. From what I have read a ballhead mount is preferred unless someone tells me otherwise. Having shopped around just a bit I realize my budget is kind of low so I am hoping someone here can help me out.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Hopefully in the near future I will get to post some of my first attempts on here for a little constructive criticism.
