Trouble with WLAN

can you locate the documenttation of the 2wire 511 router? I looked last niht but could not locate the PDF... if you find that I will lead you trough on a PM if you want...

Here is the PDF file for my router. I found out that the 2wire511 is my SSID and the actual model is HomePortal 1000HG.

ok I just went trough the pdf... it dosnet look like you can do lease reservation so you will have to asign manualy from the Profilux.

on page 33, it has:
DHCP Range. The range of IP addresses used by your system (the default is 192.16.1.33 through
192.16.1.250). IP addresses can be either static (permanently assigned) or dynamic (automatic and
temporary).

so that means that you can use this:
SSID: 2wire511
IP: 192.168.1.10
Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Is not correct? 255.255.255.0 is normal class C

yes the router is using a lager mask for some reason, might hove to do with the VOIP or other device supported....

Hi all, after several hours of searching how to disable my wireless security settings, I have finally figured it out and am now connected to my controller. I ended up using the IP, 192.168.1.10, hopefully I won't run into anymore problems regarding the WLAN.
