True Perc Swimming behaviour??

is it normal for clownfish(true perc) to swim sideways along water surfaces? my pair had been doing it all night long.. they are active just that they swim in this odd way thanks

It's not unusual for them to do this at night, if they don't have a BTA to go to bed in. Their way of "hiding" from potential predators. Bet they don't do it in the daytime?

they only do it at night.. during the daytime.. they swim perfectly

clowns are funky

they worry me when they do that though since it seems like they don't rest/sleep

mine were fighting over my clams all night, bleh
