Mom taking care of nest.

This is the first spawn for this pair. It is quite interesting to watch both the male and the female fan and care for the eggs.

I'm going to let them lay a few more times before I try to raise them. Wan't to get a really big nest before I go through all the work involved.

beautiful picture, that is worthy of submission to one of the fish mags, I know foster&smilth do this and give gifts on pictures they choose.

How long have you had the pair before they started to mate and spawn? just wondering. And is it more difficult with other types of clowns or is it the same. I have a pair of Golden Striped Maroons.

Great picture, and beautiful fish. Good luck on future raising of them.

This pair was wild caught. I have had them for about 8 months. They were a mated pair (not to be confused with a breeding pair) when I acquired them. Because of the variables involved with wild caught clowns, I cannot be certain about their age.

This was their first spawn.

I cannot say for sure about Maroons except for the fact that occy's and percs are reported to be the easiest to breed.

awesome picture!

my clarkii pair have tended to eggs quite a few times now but I've never looked into actually trying to raise the fry.
