True Percula color changes...

I have just noticed that my True Percula Clownfish now has a lot more black color filled in his mid body. Whereas before it was mild. His whole midsection is almost completely black now, with the exception of the top of his fins.

Can someone explain this to me? Stress? Maturing?

sounds good to me. I cant stand a perc without a lot of black.

Great. Yes, I'm no way complaining about the black. I was just curious about it.

Also, I've been referring to the clown as a "Her". Is this a sure sign that my True Percula is indeed a "she"?

if a clown is left to mature by itself or with a smaller companion it will inevitably turn female.

it is curious if your ocellaris were got more black. LOL

i have 2 true percs and one of them has a good amount of black and the other has a little black on it but they are still very small less than 1"

Interesting... This true perc is probably 2" to 2 1/2".
