Try SCUBA Free - Downtown Aquarium July 25th & 26th

Ever wanted to try Scuba diving? This weekend you can try it for free at the Downtown Aquarium from 10-4. The bad news is that you will not be diving in the display tanks, but rather in a BIG pool setup outside. The good news is that if you try scuba, which is FREE, you get a FREE admission to the Aquarium!

If you are already a certified diver, bring your C card to the Aquarium this weekend between 10 - Noon to receive 2 for 1 admission to the Aquarium. Of course, you can also bring your non-diving friends with you and then talk about them while they are underwater.

I'm assuming that we'd have to rent the scuba equipment unless we owned our own?

no need to dive in a pool but ill take the 2 for 1 admission. I have no reason to doubt you Rob, but I can't find anything about the 2 for 1 admission.

Nope.... you just need to supply the swimsuit...... unless you like going commando in neoprene..... Oh.... TMI.

That is referenced in the e-mail from the dive shop hosting the event. It's the same shop that runs the dive with the sharks gig at the Downtown Aquarium. Drop me your e-mail address and I'll send you a copy.
