trying to get enough flow

I currently have a 92g corner tank. Corner tanks are a nightmare to get flow in, all these dead spots. Other than that and little room under the stand I really enjoy it. Anyway, currently I have 2 hydor k3's and 2 tunze 6025's. From my calculations I get roughly 30x turn over. I want to eventually make my tank primarily SPS, right now I just have a few softies, and a clam. I was thinking of upgrading to 2 6045's, and 2 6065's. That would yield around 60x flow. I was wondering, how directional is the flow, I'd hate fish to be blown all over the place, and blow flesh off of corals. Does anyone have a recommendation as for placement in the tank or different/better models to buy? The only other thing I could think of was 5 6045's. Maybe 2 in the front, 2 in the back sides and the 5th hidden behind the back wall pointing toward the middle front of the tank? This configuration would be more difficult but provide about equal flow as the 4 powerhead solution. Also I was wondering, could the magnet of the powerhead be put inside of the overflow, would that cause issue or does it have to be placed outside of the tank? As you can see, I'm rather lost here, so does anyone have any ideas? I appreciate any help. Thanks a lot!

I would probably go with a single 6105. The flow is adjustable within a wide range of about 700gph to 3400gph so you don't have to worry about injury to corals you can adjust it to suit you and with a controller the pulsing should give you some nice flow variation. The magnet can be placed in the overflow, both sides are identical and waterproof.

hmm interesting rvitko, I hadn't thought of that. Sounds like an interesting idea. Thanks for providing me with more to mull over. Will have to really think about that.
