Trying to make the neck for my 10" diameter skimmer.

Yeah, me too, I used to work for Autobahn in Costa Mesa I used to custom Porch 911 into the Roadster(installing running boards,putting louvers on fenders...ect you named it), but I like collision better than fabricating. here's some pics to give you an idea. the "dome" is not that tall. The whole skimmer is home made and is run by 3 sedra 9000's w/ needle wheels.

that skimmer looks like its made of parts from an ASM skimmer. I have an ASM G6 body and two collection cup that I plan to mod the same way as that skimmer but maybe not that big. But do plan on 3-sedra 5000 on it.

Don't know for sure as I didn't build it. It stands about 6 feet tall total and the body is about 10" in diameter. The collection neck is about 4" and the cup is about 10" the cup and riser neck are made as one and have a twist lock to the "dome". The top of the collection cup is also a twist lock. i can get some better pic's of teh setup if need be.

The sedra pumps have venturis on the input that look like the same as are on the euro reef models. I inject ozone into two of them.

Loc I have an extra 4"(Maybe 4.5" I have to remeasure) union from Spears. The same size as EuroReefs 12 series necks. I was going to make an extension for my ER a while ago, bought the union then, sold the skimmer. PM me if you are interested.
