I think the shrimp is trying to bring sexy back but the emerald is having none of it.

Cool - looks like you put the skeleton of my Cynarina in the tank, along with the zoas. Good luck with them, they should color up nicely with good lights. My basement is so quiet without the tanks ...

The skeletons do look pretty cool. The polyps are doing well. One oc the soft corals is still slumpy but the other three seem to be OK. I had a pepermint shrimp and a snail die last night. I espext there was an amonia spike from the added rock that is the culprit. Everything else seems to be fine.

The best one is the fire shrimp, but I have not been able to get a good pic of him yet.

Sorry about the shrimp and the snail. The rocks with the zoas and the hairy mushrooms shoud be OK, they multiplied from the original three to over a dozen that you saw. The live rock from the 30 gal tank should have been cycled as they had been sitting in a bucket of salt water for months and were quite "dead" by now. Little consolation for the creatures you lost, of course - sorry again.

The other theory I have is that maybe they had a bad reaction to the defensive slime the polypse gave off. there was quite a lot of it when I put them in the tank.

I will mourn the loss of my peppermint. he was fun to watch.

Dont know about the slime - that is normal. Doesn't matter however sorry for your loss
