TS24 - 6100 problems

I have a TS24 kit and one of the 6100 started alarming a few days ago and I did not get to clean them until today because the second one started alarming yesterday. I cleaned them very well I think and they still alarm (the propeller spins very sporatically). I read your post at the top about alarming and I cleaned as per instructions.

Any suggestions? Can I get replacement assemblies?

Jay

You can get replacement assemblies but an intermittent allarm tells me it is likely still dirty, it is also possible the magnet is cracked or the bush bearing is not in all the way.

It alarms continuously and the prop turns very slowly. How can you tell if the brush bearing is in all of the way.

Where can I get the replacement parts?

Jay

I sell replacement parts direct or you can order them through any of our dealers. Honestly, if cleaning it doesn't do it, I would send the pump in. It could be an electical problem. The bush bearing just pushes in until it stops, it is in right if it was lined up with the grooves. The other things to check are is the hole in the magnet clean, magnet not cracked, magnet engages the propeller (you shouldn't be able to turn the magnet a full 360 if you hold the prop) upper bearing is free spinning, o ring is in place. If that all checks out the problem has to be electrical.

I will check one last time tonight....

If I have to send back where and what would you like me to send back ?

Jay

Just the motor and driver (blue or silver box). Send them to:

Tunze USA
1304 Monica St
Austin TX 78758

I was just trying and the outer magnet seems to be turning but the prop turns very slowly and the alarm beeps on and off.

I think they are pretty clean I can not see any obstructions.

Any thoughts...

Jay
