TTM for starfish

Long story short, I had to rip down my 125 and start over.
So now my livestock are going to do TTM and then into a 40B until the cycle is over. Equipment etc is not an issue.
The only question I am not clear on is this:
Will TTM work on the starfish and anemone crab? Or do they have to just be QT separately for 72 days?

TTM works only for obligate parasite hosts (fish)

I would still QT for the 72days at least. They may not transfer the pests on them but it may still be in the water

Cryptocaryon can only be in the water for maximal 48 hours.
Also, most starfish I came across have mucous layer on them which wouldn't really encourage a protomont to settle on it.

Sea urchins are a whole a different story with their exposed hard surfaces.

Oh, and the anemone crab should be clean after the next mold if in a fishless tank for at least a day.
After the mold you can move it to another clean tank and wait 2 days before putting it back with the fish. That way no tomonts or theronts can be on it.
