TTM schedule

Got my last fish out of the ich DT an hour ago -
May 6 at 900 pm
I want to make sure I do this right.
Does the following change schedule work?


Thursday May 9 @ 800 pm
Saturday may 11 @ 700 pm
Tuesday May 14 @ 600 pm
Friday May 17 @ 500 pm
Sunday May 19 @ 400 pm

I was originally planning on only 4 changes but Mother's Day on Sunday totally screwed that up!

wait what? .. assuming I am reading this right, you have a display tank that had a fish with ich in the display tank. You just removed it. Now you are wanting to perform tank transfer method on the fish and place the fish back in the display tank?

If yes to the above, then you got to rethink this. Your display tank has ich in it and will need to remain fishless for 72 straight days to rid tank of the ich. If you do TTM on the fish, you'll need to keep somewhere else besides the DT for the 72 days. Maybe in a QT or smaller isolated tank?

Do a google search on ich and fallow periods.. I would not do TTM and then put the fish right back in the DT.

As the thread title states I am inquiring as to whether this is an acceptable TTM schedule. I know about keeping the DT fishless and I'm sure I will start another thread with questions pertaining to that in the days to come.

That schedule will be fine, since there is less than 72 hours between each transfer. You can do transfers more often than 72, just can't go longer than 72 hours.

Make sure each tank and equipment is either dried or sterilized between transfers. Ideally tanks should all be far enough apart to not contaminate each other.

schedule looks just fine.

i've heard 7 - 10 feet is a good guideline for distance between things. more if possible.
