Tube anemone fiasco.

Picked up a nice, hot pink tube anemone at sea today. Well, my tank is 30 inches deep and I cannot reach the sand with my hand. I use a long grabber I got at harbor freight $2. Anywho, it opened nicely but I must have really ****ed it off trying to bury part of it with my long tong because about an hour later I noticed it floating in my tank. $h)t. It expelled it's tube . I put it back in the sand and I think it started to unbury itself. I had thoughts of it getting in the power head in the middle of the night. I know they are not true anemones but I am sure chopped tubey would not be appreciated by anything. I created a emergency cover for the time being. Has anyone had any experience with them going tubeless and streaking in the buff.

Yea it happens, its looking for a spot it likes. Once it hits the floor it'll bury itself and start tube building again.

All is well. Kept under the Tupperware last night and it's staying now. Extending well

always wanted one of these, but prob not compatible in a high flow sps tank

Doing great, I put it in the corner of my tank where it get less flow.
