It crossed my mind that I almost never see people growing and fragging Tubipora. A quick search of the selling threads reveal moving sales but virtually no frags sold.
Why do you think that is? Do people just not grow it well? Some of the morphs are among the best looking corals I have seen IMO.
Also, does anyone have experiences with varying growth rate in Tubipora? It seems that some morphs grow much faster than others, in the same tank. Do you think there is some trace elements or food they need that we don't supply in high enough concentrations, or are they just slow growing?
I'd like to solicit some photos too, see what morphs are out there. Let's see em!
