tuning 240/3 skimmer

do You think it's possibele to improve the skimmer by adding the pump from master doc skimmers line (instead of oryginal venturi).

You would only need to change the venturi. The 240/3 can be a very good skimmer but you should have a 235.120 (not 235.12A) impeller, a new venturi 3130.16 and the newer one piece cup with attached riser tube.

i already have it, but i wonder it it would be big imrovment to change the pump.
Could I use the old one for in tank circulation?

The old pump is stronger, you just want to use the new venturi. Old motor+ new venturi will produce a stronger pump but the new pump and old pump on there own are about equal so there is no point to it, the new one is a lower powered pump with an improved venturi.

i thought there are more differences such as dispergator and it would produce better mixture.
how much water and air flow does the old pump produce?

That is the Master DOC Hydrofoamer, I don't think that would work on a 240/3 It has a different fitting and the flow would be so high I think the skimmer could not work.
