Achilles Tang

Lol, I actually haven't taken pics of anything yet.

The anthias is fine. I'm told he might night eat for a while.

I know I saw him eat at the store so I'm not worried. Im told this may be simple new fish behavior from my friends that have this fish.

But I did get 1 super male anthias, 4 pepp shrimp, and 1 nice yellow fiji leather piece.

Also, I am so glad I went back to T5s. My purple death frags actually look purple and not washed out wannabe purple but really is brown kind of shade.

You staying with the t5's now? I'm trying to figure an easy way to get a couple t5's mounted so i can run Blue + bulbs with my kessils.

Yea, I switched back to the t5s. With all the bulbs running the colors are so much better.
Without the purple plus some corals look bland.

Hm, mounting t5s may be a bit difficult for aesthetics since you have the kessil.

I'll think on it.

Hm, so I came home from this week long trip to find that:
My mandarin fish died.
My skimmer was overflowing.
All other fish had ich (well, everyone except for 1 clown)
My gorgeous red table had white tips.
A few other sps started to die from the base.

I did a quick 5 g water change and the next day all remaining fish were fine (save for the hippo).

So, needless to say, my tank is relatively unhappy now.

I'm thinking of getting one of my friends to hold my SPS for the summer, since I will be in and out for days at a time. Yes, the system was automated, and yes, my wife did all the things I asked of her.

I spend good money, or get good trades and I hate to see these SPS die over the summer.

I really liked that mandarin. I had him eating pellets!!! He was huge!
