tunze 1910 nozzle help.

I posted this in the filter forum, but got no responses. Anyone here have this unit?

I received my Tunze 1910 today, and the manual leaves a little to be desired. I was wondering about he nozzle on the hydrofoamer. I noticed there is a hole in it that corresponds to where it attaches to the hydrofoamer (allowing the hole to be covered if desired). Is that supposed wide open, or shut?

Anyone with the unit know what I am talking about?

nevermind, I called. it turns out that is where the venturi line is supposed to be attached. this is also why I was receiving no skimmate and there were bubbles. I thought it was just a breakin period thing. Great service.
