Tunze 6000 problems.

I woke up this morning to the alarm from my tunze 6000 ringing. I turned off the power pulled out the stream and cleaned it a bit. I then placed it back into my tank and it started right up. My problem now is that it doesnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t seem as strong. What do I do? Is there a way to test it. I would go ahead and give it a better cleaning but it wasnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t that dirty to begin with. How do I know that Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m getting the right amount of flow?

The bottom piece that the oring slides on should be free of the magnet. Otherwise the hole in the center of the magnet needs to be clean of debris. Water is pumped down the hole and acts like the balls in a ball bearing and the magnet rotates in the upper bearing this way.

Sorry if Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m a little slow. When you say free of the magnet, what do you mean? It should not be on it?

The rotors in a tunze are much different then in any other powerhead i've seen. What are those bearings made out of?

I'm not sure I'm supposed to say. Well say it is graphite and a blend of modern polymers and leave it at that.
