tunze 6000 with single controller on 65 round?

Is this gonna work. The tank is 36 inches round and 15 inches deep....am I in for a sandstorm ? mostly sps and a couple of clams. There is an open braih also. I was sick of looking at the 3 MJ1200s so I upgraded. Hope it was the right choice...any imput guys?

I've a 75g (48") and I've been playing with the angle for a while now and finally got the adjustment right without any sandstorm. You'll have to bring the power down quite a bit to avoid a sandstorm in a 36" tank but I think it can be done and you can made use of the pump set if you upgrade to a bigger tank in the future. Just play with the dial untill the flow is low enough and doesn't kick up the sand and also try to keep the flow from hitting any rocks at the top level otherwise it deflect and can hit the tank bottom and cause the sand to kick up.

After installing the 6000 with sing contrlr I kept the 3 MJ 1200 with the Natural Wave Maker to get extra flow on the lower section.

I would have waited for the 6055 which comes out in December but I think you can make it work, you may need the Stream rock to get it angled and installed so it won't blow the sand.
