Tunze 6045

On again Off again Reefer
Ok. Well i came home last night to my 6045 not working. I tapped on it and it sputtered a bit then froze. I took it out of the tank and took it apart and it appears that the pin that holds the impeller in place snapped off right at the base. Is there any fix for this? Can I just buy a new pin? Anyone know where? Is this common in these pumps? This just happened out of the blue. Thanks in advance for the help.

This was a material defect in the first pumps made. The only repair is to replace the pump, if you send it in, I will replace it.

Well..... ok. I can overnight it to you. Is that ok? I can send a return overnight with it if you wouldn't mind using that. That PH is a major part of my tank and I don't have spares and shipping through my company is cheap. I'll just send in the whole thing unless you say otherwise. Thanks for the help.

By the time I got home, got it boxed (sorry for the QuietOne box I was trying to hurry) and got to the UPS box they had already picked up. It's in there today so you will get it tomorrow. I put the return overnight label in the top of the box. Thanks again for you help with this.

Can you give me an update? Just making sure that it got delivered to the right place.
Any chance you got it out yesterday? Thanks again for your help.

Yes, it went our Friday and we used the next day label you provided, I think you should get it today.
