probably dumb but I'll ask.... if your going to use apex to control this guy do you still need the brick power supply?

i have two controllable pumps but yes you need all that the pumps come with you will see when you get it it plugs right in to p.o.t. The box is the part that your 120v plugs into then it converts it to dc. when using the variable cable from the apex mine was loose u have to pull the outside rubber back where it connects to the pump. also this cable is like $20 and needed cant control without it
