Tunze 6095 2nd Gen

Hello

I am trying to buy a Tunze 6095 2nd Gen with the Titanium Alloy Shaft and am having a hard time finding an online shop that stocks them here in the States. I most of the time buy these type items from Marine Depot but they dont have any in stock for 4-6 weeks. I have called sevral other online retailers to see if they have them in stock but they do not. Any suggestions?

Jan and Feb are rough months for supply, the factory closes for 3 weeks starting Christmas Eve, as a result we have no products coming in from Christmas to late January. 6095's completely sold out by New Years and 40 just arrived and went to dealers across the country, this is still far short of backorders so I suspect that what came in will go to existing backorders and not be available for immediate order. By March things smooth out and things are generally back in stock. I would place an order somewhere so you are in line and not perpetually at the back of the line if you want to get one.

How would an lfs know its getting a second Gen? Does it say somewhere on the packaging? Also I'm assuming the 2nd gen comes with the jumpers and wide flow housing? I'll also be ordering one from my lfs soon. Thanks.

The 6095 came out in late 2011 and there has only been 1 version, it has not changed.
