Tunze 6095 help

I just picked up 2 used 6095s and one works great and the other tries to run but cuts off after a few seconds. It's acting like it is detecting something in the way of the propeller. I have them both hooked up to an Apex controller. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

First thing is to disconnect the pump from the Apex and test out the pump. That will isolate the potential issue to just the pump.

There is a known issue where the plug on the Stream cable has a little bit too much material on it and it prevents a good connection for the 0-10v signal. FWIW, I've recently taken a pair of these out of storage and am having a similar issue and am just waiting for a day off to diagnose.

Well after a long soak in vinegar and good scrubbing I put the powerhead back in the tank once it was dry. I turned the outlet on and it did the same thing so I thought my profile or programming was wrong. As I was accessing the outlets the powerhead just turned on and started running correctly. It has now ran for 8 hours following my program perfectly. Not sure what happened to be honest.

Keep me posted if it starts to act up again. I would agree with Breadman, the Apex cable does seem to fit loosely and that can be a cause of issues.
