Tunze 6095 magnets

I'm looking to mount a couple Tunze 6095's on my overflow. That means the magnets that usually sit on the outside of the tank will be in the tank water. Are they safe to do so or will there be issues with rust?

I had asked Roger that question awhile ago and was advised that it was fine to do.
