Tunze 6105 with broken shaft

Hi Roger,

One of my 6105's stopped working and when I took it apart to clean it, the shaft came right out with the impeller. This is one of the newer model 6105's with the fixed impeller shaft. I've had this one for about 3 years, so it's probably out of warranty, but I would like to know if it is repairable. It appears that the shaft snapped off at the base right where it enters the hard black plastic. So with the fixed shaft units, I'm not sure if it is possible to replace the shaft. As always, I appreciate any feedback.

Did the shaft break or pull out? Mine pulled out. I used some super glue and gentle "hammered" it back in. It's worked fine since.

It looks broken off. There's a rough damaged end on the shaft and it looks like a small piece of shaft is still imbedded in the black plastic. I wish it had just pulled out.

Breakage was an issue in early 2012 from some defective shafts, the motor will need to be replaced, in the us, send it to me, in canada you will need to contact Xenia, xeniainc.com.
