Tunze 62000 magnet broken clip

Hi Roger,

The clip on the magnet can easily break from the constant jerking when the 6200 pump switches on and off. Two of mine broke already.

This is pretty rare, I have seen it happen but I don't think it is a universal problem, in the last few years I have had at most ten such claims, if you send them in I will replace them.

Okay I just send the magnet today.

But got another set of magnet that is showing sign of braking due to the pump constant jerking. Even the sliding piece is starting to break. I'll video tape it so you can see the problem.

My 6200s have done this to quite a few magnets as well. They have been replaced by Roger no questions asked but I have the same fear as you. I hope he comes up with a solution to this problem.

Xinumaster, it doesn't look like the 6200.23 holder is completely seated on the magnet, it looks like it should slide down another 1/2"

When I get your other magnet I will get a better idea. Philip was one of the few other broken magnets I have had and I can only assume that sometimes the plastic is too thin or burned in the mold and that is the cause, this is not particularly common. The magnet holder is one of our best sellers and on a percentage scale it would be not even a 10th of a percent that I get back for such problems.

Yes, we sent a replacement on Wednesday, I didn't find anything unusual, I can only assume the plastic was brittle due to some manufacturing issue but it is just not a common problem.
