tunze 7240

Hello I was just given a pair of Tunze 7240's and I was wondering if there was a convertion kit to make them work like the stream. also since they were given to me I don't know the flow rate on them so I was also wondering how to figure that out. And last but not least if there is a convertion kit will it make the flow rate increase ? thank you for all the help I am very new to these things I actually never looked into to them because they have a high price tag.

Can you get me the exact part number from the motor block, is it 7240 or 7240/2? What is the part number of the transformer? It will be seven digits 7***.***

well pump says 7240/2 on it and the one the transformer it says:
7210.202, 7310.322, 7410.602, 6200.800 and the next to is has a list of controler #'s I have the 7094 multi controler .

That is the driver, the transformer is the hockey puck. The transformer will have one of the numbers you listed. At this point I can say it can be converted to a Stream but the transformer will determine what model, the conversion runs about $100.

ok the hockey puck (LOL) says 7210.202A. Now if I get the covertion kits will it have that high flow like the other tunze's. B/C these don't seem like they push a lot out. thanks for you help BTW

Yes, it pumps 692gph as is, a conversion to a 6000 gets you to 1850gph.

GREAT !!! and one more thing then I'll stop bothering you. Where do I get the convertion kit ? I didn't see it on the TUNZE website when I checked .

It is no longer sold as a kit- you need parts

what about the propeler ? should I change that as well ?

That comes with the 6100.70.
6080.13 is the cover
6060.25 is the mounting hardware
6100.70 is the drive unit with propeller
