Tunze 7310/2 is stuck

I've cleaned this unit before without problems, but this time it's been soaking in 50/50 vinegar and h2o for 96 hours and I still can't get the drive unit out. I'm feeling I need to send it in for the pros to fix it. Is that the approach to follow, or do you have other suggestions? Thanks.

Try turning the prop and push a little firmly. It is difficult without a lot of experience to know the breaking point but hey- you have to send it in anyway so why not try. Try pulling firmly to and a bit of warmth like a day in the attic or the garage (please no ovens or torches just slight warmth) can work wonders. It is probably to cool now at least were I am but I know alot of these just pull apart after shipping because they get so warm in transit.

Thanks Roger for the prompt reply. It ALMOST worked. The drive unit budged, so that was better than I got it alone. I give. Where and how do I send it? Thanks again.
