I have a 9001 skimmer installed it straight out the box set up as per instructions. It skimmed well for a while but now no good. What am i doing wrong?

It could be there is just nothing to skim, an additive, large water change or fatty food has disrupted skimming, the skimmer is jammed in some way (salt creep can clog the air passage and fine debris can jam the impeller). It could also be the depth has changed or the impeller cover has come loose from the pump. I could try to narrow it down more if I knew the amount of time the skimmer has been installed and how long the tank has been set up. Also, is it producing bubbles and does the pump run.
