Tunze 9002 break in

Hey just received the Tunze 9002 for my RSM. Question about break in... The water line is at the drawn in water line of the skimmer. After about an hour or so of skimming, the cup filled up with water. Is that right? The knob is tightened all the way. Is the skimmer breaking in? Is the skimmer itself too low and need to be raised? Any help please! Thank you!

Raise the skimmer about 1/2", the US pump is stronger than the euro pump so this compensation is required. The skimmer typically has fully broken in after two weeks.
