Tunze 9002 Loud

The above is by far the loudest thing in my tank... i've heard that these are supposed to be near silent but i certainly have to turn the TV up, and apologise to any guests. Its far louder than my 2100ltr/hr return pump.

Its certainly a pump/vibration noise as apposed to an air noise... any ideas? If taken it apart but cant see any errors

Try taking the pump out and running it seperately, this will rule out a pump issue vs something with how it is installed in the skimmer or air trapped inside.
