Tunze 9002 Question

I'm planning on buying one of these and placing it in my medium cpr aquafuge. I was wondering if you have to secure these down or can I just place it on top of the sand and plug it in?

they come standard with a heavy duty magnet. so it can easily lock onto one of the fuge's edges.

the magnet is on the thin side near the top, so you should be good to go.
