Friday nite I made "ediot of the year". To make a long story short. I was configuring my tank equipment and in doing so I plugged in a sequence dart pump that was not connected via true union. My reaction to unplug was quick but you all I could see was a huge fountain of water. Well, the worst was the drivers of my Tunze 6100's got wet. I thought everything was fine until I hit the food timer 10minutes later and I heard the famous ringing sounds coming from one of the drivers. I quickly unplugged and removed the cover to inspect driver. Nothing burned or looked damaged but I knew it had gotten wet inside. I dried the inside as best I could but now, it works fine until you hit the food timer then it rings. Well this morning when the lights went on both drivers began to ring. I'm screwed!! is that it? Are they that sensitive? Can I replace the drivers? Roger, help! I read the two previous posts about tunze ringing so I will attempt to clean the tunzes tonight after I write this but I cant believe I will be that lucky. Anyone with any ideas please help.
