You would set the Chiller controller to say 76 and then set your X-10 controlled socket to 78 and then you would have a redundancy incase your X-10 socket failed in the on position, the maximum cooling would be 76. It would of course eliminate the heater option and you would need a socket that could handle 700W minimum.

I seem to recall, peak draw on start up is 780 Watts, however, we don't sell them anymore and it would be best to contact AquaTherm directly with any questions, they are the manufacturer and will continue to sell and service the chillers. 785-671-3566
