Tunze chiller

I have a tunze at-5000 that has only been running for 3 months, I bought it new from another user. It is malfunctioning and the temp is reading 115 degrees and it is running all the time. I have turned the chiller off for now, but I am leaving for vacation this week and I need to know what I can do to fix this if there is anything before I leave so a quick response would be appreciated.

Thanks

Two options:

1. Bring your chiller back to the retail store where you bought it from and ask for repair or replacement.

2. Use a separate Temp controller while you are on vacation to make sure your turn don't turn into a giant ice cube then have it fix after you get back from vacation. You can use ranco controller or any type of aquarium controller that have high Amp plug....

Is it one of our chillers? AquaTherm has been making these chillers since 2000, they have been sold by a few different companies, if it has a Tunze sticker and was made in the last year it is one of ours and we will take care of it, it sounds like the temperature probe has failed and this was an issue on the older AquaTherms sold by AquaMedic and a couple of other dealers. If it is an older one from another dealer I can get you in touch with the manufacturer and he can likely send the part.
