Tunze comes through again

This is why you buy quality products from tunze.

My chiller messed up this weekend, the temp probe went bad and I was supposed to leave for vacation yesterday. I pmed Roger and he got back to me monday. He got me in touch with the manufacturer and they sent me a new part. All it cost me was 34.00 for next day air, they would have covered shipping also but I needed it quick so I did next day air. I got the part about an hour ago. That is great customer service.

May I ask what went wrong in the first place? A user error or mfg defect? I am considering to upgrade my chiller and Tunze chiller is one of my choose, but need to know it is realiable.

Ok, I think I saw the original thread and it was an issue on the older AquaTherms sold by AquaMedic. Does it mean new Tunze made in 2009 wont' have this issue? Question to rvitko, thx.

The temp probe failed, it was one of ours. Fortunately it is rare and a fairly easy DIY repair.
