Tunze Comline Filter 3162: microbubbles

Hi Roger, I installed the Tunze Comline Filter 3162 in my aquarium 1.5 weeks ago. It worked 100% flawlessly for one week. But then, 3 days ago, it started to produce microbubbles. It is producing them steadily, a consistent amount at an unchanging rate. The filter media I have installed is what came with it stock (green "wool" and blue sponge). Also, the water level has sometimes gotten a bit low due to evaporation, but even when I adjust that back to the correct level, the microbubbles do not stop. Any ideas on the cause and the fix? Thanks so much!

The wadding needs to be packed loosely. I was really stuffing it in there and had the same problem.

It may also be clogged, I use the larger and older 3167 and I get about 1 week before I have to clean or replace the media, especially if I stirred things up, at most if the tank is really clean I might get 2 weeks.
