Hey tunze assoc's,

I picked up some of your coral fix!

Should i do it out of water... i heard it takes a long time to dry so i am finicky about leaving frags out of water for too long.

The package says it is "biologically damaging" or something like that...what does that mean...

Should i glue dry? Wet in a bucket? both? out of tank and back in display? out of tank and then to a bucket? or not out of water at all? in tank the whole drying process? in bucket whole process?

I am quite confused as to the best manner in which to implement this glue/epoxy for my acropora frags!!!!

Some help would be appreciated!!!!!

What is your most succesful manner in using this product?

It is like any other epoxy stick on the market, we recommend gluing frags in a bucket outside the aquarium. Within reason it can be safely used in the aquarium but if you were to glue down 20 corals it could poison the tank. One or two frags a day would be fine. Epoxy is an irritant and if the concentration is high enough it can kill corals. We hedge on the side of caution as we have seen people glue down every last thing in the tank at once and lose everything as a result. If you just have a couple frags to glue down in a large tank, I wouldn't worry about it, otherwise do it in a bucket of saltwater and after about 15 minutes move the frags to the tank, instructions should have been included in the box.

yeah it says 4-6 hours out of tank

thats what i did and man it works...that frag isnt going anywhere however,

i got some on the sides of the frag when i was pushing it down into the epoxy...it looks like it hardened on the side of the frag and polyps dont come out there...i hope it doesnt kill it!

so you think i can get by with 15 minutes....the water in the bucket was pretty murky for my liking to have in the display

My experience is the murkiness comes from working it and disturbing the material, once you have the frag adhered and are no longer working the resin it doesn't disperse into the water. You might give it an hour but I don't think a full 4-6 is necessary, that is how long it takes for the resin to completely harden.
