I just don't get it.
A Tunze DOC 9015 skimmer is rated to skim a 300+ gallon tank with a body which is no higher than 19 inches!
Isn't one of the pre-requisites of a good skimmer being the contact time of the micro bubbles in the reaction chamber? i.e. the longer the contact time, the better the skimmer performance and that's why other companies that make skimmers have taller and wider reaction chambers for their products to handle larger tanks.
Perhaps someone can explain this.
