Tunze Magnet Holder 6200.50 on 1" acrylic

I now the 6200.50 is rated for 3/4", but they don't make a stronger one. Do you think I can use a 6200.50 on a 1" acrylic tank without a 6100 stream falling off?

Nick, It will probably be a few months before I get the new tank. One thing that concerns me is that on my current 3/4" tank the magnet will detach ocassionally when moving the Tunze, but it could be because of all the coraline build up.
 
that's enough for me to not use it on my new 1 inch

assuming you are referring to the more powerful magnet

- also I asked roger over the phone and gave an indication that occasionally he has heard they move when otherwise he was noncommittal on the subject on RC

I am now using the 6200 magnets with my 6000 streams on a 1 inch acrylic tank
