Tunze Master DOC Protein Skimmer 9420.000

I am looking to buy a Tunze Master DOC Protein Skimmer 9420.000 and was wondering if it would fit in a 20 gallon tall (24 * 12 * 16) or a 50 gallon short sump (36 *18 *19). I presently have a 90 gallon sump but don't have room for it so I would need to add another sump to my existing to accomodate for it. Any help would be great.

the 9420 would fit in both. If you plan to consider retrofitting the skimmer with a second pump thus making it a 9440 i would go with the 18" wide option as you will need it to accomodate it.

It will be a very tight fit in the 20, I would suggest the 50 gallon sump.
