Tunze Nano 6025 on a skimmer?

Just wondering if I could connect a nano 6025 onto a Remora skimmer to replace a MJ1200 and if so what would happen? Does the wide flow pattern of the nano make it not as effective to pump into the skimmers injector. I'd have to use a reducer coupling to connect it. I'll have to ask AquaC the same question.

Would the back pressure of the reducer coupling and Remora injector cause any problems to the 6025?

Are the nanos able to run other equipment like this or would it just not work?

It wouldn't work, the 6025 has a 1.5" outlet and it would generate almost no flow to the skimmer with the back pressure and the restriction. These pumps produce very little pressure.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Maybe some day I'll have to look into a Tunze 9005.
