Tunze Nano osmolator pump gets stuck

I purchased the nano osmolator late April 2015 from my local LFS to set up on my IM Nuvo 20 gallon before a week long vacation. I have two of your regular osmolators on my larger tanks those are a few years old and still run strong. The nano keeps getting stuck. I use rodi water, I tried a few vinegar soaks but same issue. Any other recommendations? Thanks!

Can you clarify what is getting stuck, is it the float or the pump? Can you explain in more detail what is happening?

I hear a slight clicking that is coming from the pump. I look at the bottom of the pump and I can see the white wheel on the bottom is trying to spin but it can't. It's like something is stopping it. Right now it's trying to spin and just will not. I usually can pull it out play with it for a bit and it kicks on. This time it's just not doing it

One of mine does the same thing. I've replaced the pump itself twice, still have same problem. It's gotten worse. I suspect a problem with the controller.

If it ticks like the second hand on a watch, that points to a controller problem and I would send it in. If it makes a pulse every 20 seconds, the safety timer is not set correctly for the tank size. If the pump runs for a under 30 seconds when first plugged in and the water is low and stops that points to a pump problem.

Once you said it was a problem with the controller I picked it up and it started flowing. So that gets me thinking it is an issue with the controller. How do I send it in? Thanks

Please send the controller, pump and power supply-

Sending out today, sorry I travel a lot. I purchased a new one since I cannot go without but I am still sending this one in. I would like a working one for backup
