Tunze nano skimmer - help!

Okay, I feel like an idiot!!!
I just got a Tunze nano skimmer and I can't figure out where the 'foam line' is suppose to be maintained. The instructions say "Lower edge of skimmer cup" - does this mean where the inside reactor chamber meets the bottom of the cup? Does this mean the foam should be raised all the way up and flowing over into the cup (mean the bottom of the cup = lower edge)???

I've had a Tunze Nano Skimmer on my aquarium for 3 weeks. . . and I took that to mean where the inside reactor chamber meets the bottom of the cup. And that works well for me.

I would set it so the foam is in the bottom inch of the riser tube. I find adjusting skimmers this way though is very complicated and unneccessary, just go by the skimmate in the cup, too watery, close the screw, not enough skimmate open the screw. The 9002 is fairly sensitive in adjustment so I would make adjustments in 1/8- 1/4 turn increments and wait a day to see the result.
