Tunze Nano-Wavebox Help?

I bought a new Tunze Nano-Wavebox this past week, and set it up in my tank. It worked perfectly for the first two days, and now it won't turn on. Earlier today I came in the room and noticed there were no waves in my tank. I looked at the controller and all the lights were dark. I unplugged and reconnected every connection twice, and still got nothing. I made sure the light-sensor was getting light.

I've looked through the manual, and can't find any information as to what I might be doing wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated!

hmmm, try to disassemble the pump and reassemble hopefully something like snail got stuck inside. If you still have the problem, send your box in so Roger can fix or replace it for you. The turn around time is very fast...

The tank is completely empty (except for sand), so nothing could have gotten stuck inside of it. Shouldn't it at least turn on when I unplug it and then plug it back in? The green light on the powerbox is on, but there is nothing coming on on the controller itself.

Weird, still no lights on the wave controller, but every so often the propeller spins for a bit and then stops.

hmmm, try the slave cable... I think you are talking about the fish care function. When you are on feed mode, the pump often spin for split sec to keep the fish away from the propeller...

Try this... Unplug the controller from the pump but don't unplug the pump. If your pump start to run which mean something is wrong with the controller then try the slave cable....

Well, if it's on the fish care function, the lights have been off for a few hours now, and it's been spinning every so often.

I did what you said, and the pump started running full blast. When plugged into the slave cable, nothing happened.

something is wrong with your controller. You need to send the controller in for replacement or repair.

usually with in one or maybe two business days once it is recieved, some of the fastest service around

I always include the overnight label if i really need it...

We typically complete a repair within a day, as long as the controller didn't get wet it will be covered under warranty, we ship back by UPS ground.

Thanks Roger. Since the pump seems to be working perfectly, I just need to send you the controller, correct? Are there any special shipping instructions? It was having major issues again today, the lights were on, but were flashing and pausing sporadically.

Oh, and despite the lights flashing back and forth, the pump wasn't moving each time... it was moving like 5% of the time.

Your last statement leads me to believe it may be the pump, send both the pump and controller. Just be sure to include a note with a description of the problem and your return address.

Roger I just took down my pump and realized my cat has chewed through the powercord to the pump. Is there any way to purchase a replacement pump? I emailed the USA email address to ask as well.

You can check on tunze.com but the nano wavbox still new i don't think they have the replacement pump for it yet. You can try to special order it with your local tunze dealer ...
