debating on which one to get......

does each of this set the alarm on when the ATO reservoir is empty? Which one do you prefer? thx

Tunze doesn't set on the alarm when reservoir is empty,but it will flashed yellow light on the the unit to let you know that aquraium water is below sensor eye

I got 5 years on my tunze ato. And just picked up another for a new setup.

They're equally good, I've used both, and they both are very accurate with the optical level sensor.
The tunze comes with better mount though (magnet) vs the elos just comes with a clip on side tank mount. Other than the mount, they're the same in performance and price.

Tunze here. Now I'm curious, should be able to flip the sensor on the float on a tunze and lower it to the bottom of the reservoir and do the same thing?
