Tunze or Reef Devil

I am thinking of buying from a fellow reefer a tunze 3116/2 which is a just hang on the sump variety which comes with its own internal pump that cannot be used as a return or a E.T.S.S. Reef Devil but I would have to buy a magdrive, and still get another pump for the return. What is the better one for a 40 gallon in a 20 long sump?

Out of the 2, Tunze will be much easier on your energy bill and heat you tank less.


I would get a DAS EX 1 $285 and would be great on that system

Looks like they have free shipping if you order before christmas and make sure you get the EX and not the BX
