been having problem with this ever since i hooked up kalk reactor....
the way its setup is feed pump in ato water is connecting via 1/4" tubing about 5' in length all the way to the kalk reactor ....i also hooked up a check valve back flow preventor in between the pump and reactor ......once or twice every other week i notice bunch of kalk powder in my ato...yesterday when i got home i saw water in my sump was way below the actual water line and ato container was full of water ...what it did it back siphoned three to 4 gallons of water from my sump into the ato container...dont really know what goin on

There is no built in back siphon prevention so a check valve would be needed. The problem with check valves on kalk dispensers is that the valve takes just long enough to close that powder can back flow and jam it open and most check valves fail quickly when exposed to kalk. I would make sure the check valve is clean and works and install it so it is looped above the reactor to minimize the risk of powder getting into the valve.
